I was so excited to let everyone know last week how you could send up to 255 characters in a Direct Message in Twitter.Well about two days after my post Twitter changed its Direct Messaging. So now just like a regular tweet you can only send up to 140 characters.Additionally when you type in your Direct Message and hit 124 Characters (20 left) you will notice that the characters remaining (count icon in the upper right side) turns from grey to bold to alert you that you only have 20 available characters available. Then when you hit 140 characters you can no longer click on the ‘Send’ button, and the send will turn from bright shadowing, to really light shadowing.
So You want to follow more than 2,000 friends on Twitter, but Twitter keeps saying you cant. Well in today’s video I will show you a tip how to follow more than 2,000 of your friends.
Because I get a lot of questions on the basics of Twitter, I decided to put together a Primer and Introduction to the basics of Twitter. To download the presentation copy and paste the address into your browser.Or click here.
